Luxury fashion brand Kinabuti presented its latest haute couture; Cosa Nostra and Rome collections at the Sundance film festival 2016 held in Pak City Utah, USA. The event an exclusive popup shop hosted by Farasha Boutique, synonymous with major luxury brands like Catherine Hooker and Emilia Jardine, marked the debut of the Kinabuti brand in the US.

 Sundance film festival is one of the major international independent film festivals. A program of Sundance institute which was created by Rob Redford is an American film festival that takes place in Utah with over forty six thousand seven hundred and thirty one attendees every year.

The collection made from a fuse of exquisite Loro piana and top range Ankara print fabrics and realized through empowerment and fusion of various women training and skills programs ranging from comprising tie-dye to traditional hand painting to tailoring and cutting patterns and a blend of the prestigious African Aso-Oke

The highlight of the 10 day pop-up shop event was a special photoshoot, photographed by famous Heidi Gress, on the streets of Sundance and presented at a private screening. A short documentary ‘’We dare2dream’’, depicting the journey of the Kinabuti brand, directed by Marcello Pastonesi and produced by Heidi Gress was also screened at the festival.

The USA public welcomed the vibrant and stylish kinabuti collection and documentary in such a warm way and look forward to seeing more of it, Sundance has indeed seen Kinabuti.
